Spooner Lake Loop Trail (Off Hwy 28)
Join us for a beautiful hike around the Spooner Lake Loop Trail. Bring the whole family to see birds, tad poles, Jeffrey pines, aspens, lizards, and wildflowers! This is a great beginner hike and a fun morning walk for all ages! Leashed dogs are welcome.
The trailhead is located right off Hwy 28. When you turn onto Hwy 28, it is the first right turn off the highway. We'll meet at the visitor's center and amphitheater!
In accordance with our commitment to accessibility: the Parking fee is waived thanks to Nevada State Parks and attendance is free!

NOTE:
Guided hikes are scheduled and occur, permitting weather. We will attempt to notify you 24 hours in advance if the hike will be rescheduled. Some weather conditions that will result in cancellation include but are not limited to an Air Quality Index (AQI) greater than 100, chain controls on major highways, or rain. Hikes will only be rescheduled once.
