Halloween Night at Burn Brae Mansion: Secrets of the Dark Forest
For the first time in its storied history, Burn Brae Mansion will reveal a hidden path through the Dark Forest—a trail never before open to the public. On this lantern-lit journey, guests will step into a world where nature, history, and legend intertwine.
Your guide will lead you into the towering Hall of Pines, where moonlight filters through ancient branches, casting long shadows across the forest floor. Along the way, you’ll uncover the remnants of Charles Elkin’s historic bottling works, once alive with industry, now hushed in mystery. You’ll hear the eerie story of the unmarked grave, where tales of previous tenants linger, before arriving at the Glen Spey cemetery—the solemn resting place of Burn Brae’s original owners, Margaret MacKenzie Elkin, Charles Elkin, and patriarch George Ross MacKenzie.
The evening also includes a guided tour of the Mansion itself, with entry into the Attic of Curiosities, a Halloween-inspired menu curated and crafted by celebrity food artist Kim M. Simons, live music from The River Ramblers, a cash bar with specialty cocktails, Angel-card readings by Lily, and a limited-edition souvenir for each guest.
With only 50 guests admitted, this is an intimate and unforgettable Halloween night—where history stirs, spirits whisper, and spooky fun awaits.
