You're invited to join our new book club, THE BOOKWYRMS! If you hadn't noticed, we've got an amazing book section, and we love to talk books, so a book club feels like the perfect next move! We'll be meeting every month to discuss interesting books, and there will be coffee and snacks. We've really been blown away by the interest and attendance in our first couple of meetings, and want to clarify some things about how we're doing things.
The goal of The Bookwyrms is to introduce titles we're excited about to new readers, so purchase of the book club selection ticket combo is a requirement to join the discussion. We've only done this twice, so it's possible this could change in the future. For now this is the best way for us to manage things and cap attendance so everyone has an enjoyable time. We get that this might be disappointing if you've already purchased the book, or borrowed it from the library, but perhaps you enjoyed it enough that you want to purchase a gift copy for someone?
August's book club selection is The Rainfall Market by You Yeong-Gwang. You can purchase the book online or in-store (be sure to specify it's a book club purchase), then meet us in the game room on Monday, July 7 at 6:30pm to discuss. Look forward to seeing you!
