Abuela Martha Pico is a Grandmother Direct descendant of the Tenek Pame lineage, developed in the path of nahualism since she was 5 years old. Able Martha was touched by lightning at age 6 and a second lightning bolt at age 9 - for this reason she was guided on the path of “tiempero” o “granicero”.
Starting the service as Sobandera and Huesera (ancestral masseur) from the age of 13 years old, Abuela Martha is a teacher of Mexican Folkloric Dance and Traditional Therapeutic Dance, red
feather dancer, healing with feathers, dance with the “rebozo”, sharing at the same time her high vibration chanting on the tongue of the stars. Recognised for her strength and wisdom, she is considered as a "grandmother of strength" within the planetary council of the "13 grandmothers of the White Buffalo Goddess lineage".
Abuela Martha was named by the Native American Grandparents Council as "Abuela Tatanka" being a representative of the ancestral knowledge to travel the continents.
Nalini is an internationally renowned singer-songwriter, sound healer, ceremonialist and workshop facilitator. Over the last 20 years, she has pilgrimaged to sacred sites around the world, studying with indigenous wisdom keepers and song carriers. From the Amazon Jungle, to the High Andes, to the temples of Egypt, India and Central America, Nalini weaves ancestral threads into a unique tapestry of song, invocation and ceremony. Her voice has been described as ‘an ancient and powerful transmission’, transporting listeners through the veils into timeless realms; her songs are deep prayers of praise and longing.
Nalini is currently based in Glastonbury, UK. She is a mentor in ‘Womb Awakening’ with the Fountain of Life Academy of Dr Azra and Seren Bertrand, with whom she apprenticed in Avalon and on Big Island, Hawaii . Nalini is especially passionate about empowering women to reclaim their authentic voice, womb wisdom and embodied connection to Mother Earth.
