About the event

Glastonbury & the Connecticut River: A Surprising Shipbuilding Powerhouse
Join us for stories and songs that explore the unexpected maritime of an inland town.

A partner project between the Glastonbury Chorus and the Historical Society of Glastonbury.

Tickets $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and free for children aged 5 and under.

Stories include:
* Adelaide, the doll purchased in Paris in 1795, traveled the world and finally came to live in Glastonbury.
* The privateer ships from Glastonbury attacking British ships during the American Revolution.
* Glastonbury built ships traveling to the West Indies, Canary Islands and Hawaii.

Many of the favorite seafaring songs by the Glastonbury Chorus
