After a creative hiatus, captivating singer-songwriter Unoma Okudo steps back into the spotlight this October with The Promise Tour — a run of intimate yet powerful shows across Scotland and England.
Currently in the studio working on her forthcoming full-length album, Unoma is ready to give audiences a rare first listen to new material, weaving fresh songs with her soulful voice and evocative storytelling.
Her journey has taken her from Celtic Connections and the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony, where she shared the stage with Lulu, Dougie MacLean, and Kylie Minogue. She has supported icons including Macy Gray, Alexander O’Neal, the late Ronnie Spector, and opened for Lalah Hathaway. She has also performed backing vocals on tour with Susan Boyle and for Alesha Dixon.
