Aims:
- Present an update in global trends in reflux.
- Explain the signs and symptoms of laryngopharyngeal reflux, and screening tools.
- Add simple screening for oral airway conditions to an examination.


The delegate by the end of the lecture should be able to:
- Expand a medical history evaluation to include reflux and sleep-disordered breathing indicators.
- Discover unrecognised contributors to tooth wear in patients.
- Implement a simple self-assessment checklist for patients to uncover all factors that may be contributing to tooth wear.​
