About the event

Telling Glasgow's Stories
Storytelling in the oral tradition - a workshop with Allison Galbraith

About this Event

Join Allison Galbraith and learn how to tell your own story of Glasgow. From folk tales to urban myths, come to hear Allison tell some of Glasgow's most famous stories, learn about oral tradition and have a go at crafting your own tale.

A selection of materials from our Special Collections will be on display to spark some ideas and you’re welcome to bring a photo or object from home that helps you share a personal Glasgow story.

This workshop takes place in the Mitchell Library on Tuesday 24th March 2026 at 2:30-4:00pm. Limited spaces available.

For more information, please call 0141 287 2932 or email c3BlY2lhbGNvbGxlY3Rpb25zIHwgZ2xhc2dvd2xpZmUgISBvcmc=
