Summer Discovery Day- Insect Inspectors

August 1, 2025- Insect Inspectors- Learn about bugs, arachnids, and how to catch them.

Cost- $40 per child. Please bring a lunch.

Where- Iron Hill Science Center, 1115 Robert L. Melson Lane, Newark, DE 19702

Time- 9am to 3pm

Recommended ages- 7 to 13 years old

Each Discovery Day includes activities that are STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) oriented but hidden in fun educational instruction, arts and crafts, games, and indoor and outdoor activities, with professional and highly qualified counselors.

Love nature!? These days are for you! Each day looks at a different part of the great outdoors. From insects, to plants, to animals, to even ancient life looking at fossils. These classes are all about making memories and learning new things about the world around you.
