Stretch & Sketch

In these classes we will use sketching as a gateway to deepening our connection with the body.

We will explore our breath, pathways of weight and other bodily systems through drawing, helping us ease into movement from a more integrated space.

Drawing inspiration from the seasons and observing how the intelligence of our lived environment can be in dialogue with our own bodies.

This will allow us to see how we can embody our movement practice differently, flowing into shapes with mindful playfulness & curiosity.

The classes will be led by Beth Longmore, she is an experienced yoga teacher who regularly teaches in & around Glasgow. She has expertise & interest in discovery through movement.

This class will involve movement & drawing we will move between the two as we explore. A complimentary herbal tea will be served.

No previous artistic experience needed & all materials / equiptment will be provided but feel free to bring your own mat if you prefer.

Ticket Price: £12 (£10 Concession Ticket*)

*Concession Tickets are for :16-30 years old, unemployed or underemployed, those living solely on state pension.
