If there ever was a time when we needed PEACE in our world, that time is now. And yet across our world, the leaders of the nations, appear to have resigned themselves to the inevitability of WAR.
Defense budgets are being increased, Military strengths in weapons and men are being assessed, while diplomacy seems to have been abandoned.
We have been labelled as a Pre-War generation. Told we must
be Battle-Ready, must move to ‘warfighting-readiness.
At Stand For Peace we do not want War. We want our nations' wealth invested in the future of our children, We want our strength as nations to be judged by the opportunities available to our citizens, and we want a return to an age of diplomacy.
We do not want to be Battle Ready, we want to be the Generation of Peace.
Our Mission Statement is :-
" We stand against NOTHING but WAR, No Person, Country, Cause or Religion. We do NOT endorse any Political party, Anyone, or Anything. We simply STAND FOR PEACE "
