Located inside the ancient woodland of The Garlic Woods. The famous Campsie hills.
October 10th and 11th at 7pm. Around an hour and a half show, depending on length of stories.
An event close to my local heart, an ancient woodland is under threat and to be stripped where the wild garlic will suffer and it has been growing here for centuries. To disturb this will mean it will not colonise again.
I, as an artist draw here, create here, write stories and I am aware this garlic wood is steeped in history, myths, biodiversity and locals love their heritage.
For a few special nights I will showcase a small laser show amongst the trees, tell tales of magic and history but mostly allow locals to tell their stories, tell us their favourite parts of the small paths and the mystical magic this forest holds.
Come along, especially if you are living in Glasgow, and save our heritage and save ancient woodland its memories.
