Playing live, we have Glasgow’s own Roller Disco Death Party who return to McChuills for their first headline show. Mixing feral electronic noise with pounding live drums, the duo create a unique racket that takes in elements of big beat, acid techno, sleazed-up rave and a whole lot more. If yr into bands like Justice, The Chemical Brothers, DFA1979 and Soulwax, yr gonna love RDDP. Fact. They’re one of the most exciting bands in the country right now and they are 100% going to be tearing the Acid Arch a new one…
If that wasn’t enough, we’ve also got none other than Jagz Kooner himself up for a DJ set. As one third of the legendary The Sabres Of Paradise , alongside Gary Burns and Andrew Weatherall, Jagz created some of the most beloved and iconic tracks of the ‘90s, while also cranking out countless collaborations, productions and remixes over the years with everyone from Primal Scream, Oasis and The Charlatans to Björk, New Order, David Holmes and The Prodigy to name only a fraction. Make no mistake, getting him up to play in McChuills is proper bucket list stuff for us here.
And of course, we can’t have a party like this without getting the Lets Go Back crew in to kick it all off the way only they can…
