LGBTIQ+ Active Inclusion Open Training Workshop

When: Wednesday 5th November 2025, 10am -1pm

Where: First floor, Alhambra House, 45 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G26HS

What: Join us for a 3hr training focused on promoting inclusion in sports for the LGBTIQ+ community. This in-person event covers up-to-date LGBTIQ+ terminology and research that explores the barriers to sport for the LGBTIQ+ community, before suggesting possible mitigations and steps towards creating an inclusive environment for all.

Feel free to arrive anytime from 9:40am. The training will begin just after 10am.

- Invoiced payments should be sent before 5pm on October 29th

- Any cancellations sent before 5pm on October 29th will be fully refunded. Those submitted after this date will be subject to the full ticket price. However, you can transfer your ticket to another person from your organisation.

- Our office is on the first floor, accessible via stairs or lift. There is an accessible bathroom on the same floor.

- We will have a designated quiet space should you need to take a break from the session at any point.

What should I bring with me?:

- There will be tea, coffee, and some light snacks available to you throughout the training

- We would recommend bringing anything you might need should you wish to take notes during the session, such as a notebook.
