Launch Evening - StuCAN Festival of Entanglement

Join us at the Glasgow School of Art's Reid Building on the 17th October for the official Launch Evening of the StuCAN Festival 2025!

This evening of exciting talks introduces the festival's key themes of Land & Community ; Materials & Circularity ; and Technologies & Futures , addressing key questions related to our overall theme of Entanglement: an invitation to explore reciprocity within the built environment and the 'more than human' relationships we share.

We are opening this event to all local students, educators, and professionals interested in joining the conversation and making like-minded connections.

About the Student Climate Action Network (StuCAN) and Architects Climate Action Network (ACAN)

ACAN is a network of individuals within architecture and related built environment professions taking action to address the twin crises of climate and ecological breakdown, and StuCAN is the student arm of ACAN.

ACAN directs personal expertise and singular efforts towards a common goal - systemic change in the profession and the construction industry at large. ACAN operates without commercial affiliations or support, allowing the network to act at pace and with autonomy. Through collective action, ACAN is working to demand, instigate and propagate the transformation of the construction industry.
