Ikebana Taster Workshop

Finding moments of stillness can be a challenge. Our Ikebana Taster Workshop is designed to be an antidote to the rush. Our expert florists will supply a creative sanctuary where you can slow down, breathe, and connect with the natural world through the ancient Japanese art of flower arrangement.

As a florist dedicated to seasonal beauty, we provide the freshest local blooms, chosen specifically for their unique lines, textures, and characters.

Ikebana is more than just "arranging flowers"; it is a meditative practice that emphasizes shape, line, and form. Unlike Western floristry, which often focuses on mass and symmetry, Ikebana finds beauty in empty space and the individual "personality" of every stem.

In this relaxed, hands-on session, you will learn to look at nature through a different lens. We move away from perfectionism and toward mindfulness, guided by the seasonal rhythms of the flowers in your hands.

What to Expect

• A Gentle Introduction: Learn the history and basic principles of the Ikebana style.
• Seasonal Selection: Work with a curated palette of seasonal branches, focal flowers and delicate fillers.
• Creative Freedom: While we teach the foundations, we encourage you to let the natural curves of your stems dictate the final design.

Refreshments and nibbles will be provided as well as all tools and materials.
