Advance your knowledge and confidence in taking your Yoga Training to the next level, using therapeutic Asana, prescriptive breathwork techniques and Ayurveda applied knowledge, the blend is very unique, undiluted and from direct lineage. Designed for modern day living and our needs. With stress levels on the rise we need to be more robust in our teaching framework to be able to understand and then cope with these demands. You are able to join as an established teacher with a view to developing new skills and confidence in the Yoga field.
We have 12 “in-Person” sessions over the year, which includes end of year and ongoing assessment and exams. Running 2 days per month Friday evening online and Saturday in person, with Friday being 3/4 hrs online, allowing for recorded material pertaining to Anatomy, Ayurveda and guest lecturers from Canada and the US. A fusion of Hatha Yoga therapy, Pranayama and a very detailed and in depth study of breathing practices for a more personal and “one to one” or individualistic approach to each of our unique systems. Philosophy, Neuro-science, Ayurveda and how to apply the knowledge of this lifestyle to common problems we are all facing through the wisdom of these teachings. We are never a “one remedy fits all” and we never will be. Learn how to see each individual through these eyes, where the entire course allows us to understand how to be a great and confident yoga teacher and knowledge to be adaptable in many different circumstances with an ancient and all encompassing system, which is needed in modern day living more than ever before. We have guest lecturers throughout the course who are at the very top of their field in the key areas listed in our modules they will be with us on this journey as we grow together.
The 300 hours can be achieved by attending all the monthly mentoring sessions and the weekend curriculum. online Tuesday mornings each week are optional but students are advised to attend at least once per month for developing their skills of the breath work online. These harness the effects of the 300 hours and all students will also receive a 1-1 at the midway and end of the course for personal practice.
Our In-Person training will be held each month in Glasgow @ The Westbourne Medical studios. A beautiful bespoke space that is easy to commute to by bus, train and car, with local parking all day rates for a very small fee.
The Course is fully Accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals 300hrs TT, and can be used towards the 600 hrs accredited Yoga Therapist IYAT course.
