Beginners Guide to Sewing at the Gladwin Library

Beginning in November, we will be hosting a monthly sewing class making a variety of projects! If this is something that interests you, but you are still a bit unsure of your sewing skills or you’ve never sewn before, sign up for our Beginner’s Guide to Sewing Class at the Gladwin Library on Saturday, October 18th. Our amazing instructor will be working one-on-one with each person, and each 1 hour session is limited to 4 people to ensure she can work directly with YOU! You will learn sewing machine basics including threading, how to wind a bobbin, basic stitching and more! Three times are available 9:00-10:00 am, 10:00-11:00 am and 11:00 am-12:00 pm.

Bring your own sewing machine. Don’t have a sewing machine? When you register note that you would like to use the instructor’s machine, and we will accommodate this whenever possible on a first come first serve basis. $5 due at registration to cover thread and other practice materials.
