Qigong is a 5000 year old Chinese health system used medically to treat patients and also as an exercise regimen practiced by millions of people all over the world that is like a gentle, slow-moving dance. It takes your joints through large ranges of motion, gently works your muscles, stimulates respiration and digestion, puts you in touch with energy (Chi), while it settles the nervous system and halts that monkey mind.
Daryl Mitchell teaches basic movements to
cultivate energy, as well as different forms of Qigong developed by revered Masters in China and around
the world, many of whom Daryl had the privilege to learn directly from.
For the classes, wear comfortable clothing and just eat a light meal prior, nothing too heavy.
