✨ What’s Happening:
🦴 Halloween Activities & Crafts (Bison Hall) 🦴
Explore real and replica animal bones to learn how Alaskan wildlife survive and thrive, test your animal-ID skills, and get creative at our craft station. All supplies provided! Don’t forget to grab a scavenger hunt sheet—return it completed for a prize.
🦔 Pumpkin Porcupine Presentation (Bison Hall Classroom | 1:30–2:00 PM) 🦔
Meet one of our resident North American porcupines up close and learn about their amazing adaptations. Watch as our porcupine enjoys a special pumpkin enrichment!
🚜 Hayrides Through the Sanctuary (Pick-up in front of the Infirmary) 🚜
Climb aboard our covered hay trailer (pulled by our F350 truck or tractor) for a Naturalist-guided tour of AWCC. Guests can wait in Bison Hall for the next available hayride. Hayrides run if maintenance is available.
🕸️ Costumes Encouraged! 🕸️
Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent. AWCC reserves the right to deny admission or remove any person wearing a costume that could detract from other guests’ experience or the comfort of our resident animals.
