Zoom Talk – Return of the Peregrine by Keith Betton
Keith’s talk using Zoom – Return of the Peregrine, is hosted by the RSPB Medway Local Group and shared with the RSPB Maidstone Local Group and Faversham NATS, will take place on Tuesday 19 August: -
7.15 pm: Meeting live – you can join the meeting, followed by Introduction and Group notices.
7.30 pm: The talk begins.
The talk is split into two parts of 30 minutes, allowing a 10-minute break at approx. 8.00 pm.
There is normally an opportunity at the end of the talk to ask the speaker questions.
There will be a charge of £3 per person for each talk.
Peregrine Falcons were almost wiped out from England in the last century due to persecution and highly powerful pesticides. Now they are returning, and also, they are living alongside us in our cities. Keith has studied them for 15 years and tells the story of their return and how people are helping them.
