Campfire Scary Story Slam | 7pm
✨ Storytellers: Do you have a spooky campfire tale to tell? Drop your name in the hat and we’ll draw the names of 10 storytellers. If chosen, you’ll have six minutes—no notes allowed—to share your campfire scary story. (See STORYTELLER RULES below)
✨ Storylovers: Sit back and enjoy goosebumps, laughter, and surprises as storytellers share their spooky tales. At the end of the night, judges will crown our CCPL Story Slam Champion!
STORYTELLER RULES
•Your story must have a beginning, middle, and end.
•Your story MUST NOT include hate speech, rants, philosophical musings, political statements, or stand-up comedy.
•Your story must be no more than 6 minutes.
•Your story should be from your own memory. You may not use notes or pre-written materials on stage.
•You will be judged on how prepared your story feels, if your physicality matches your storytelling, if your voice was engaging and loud enough to be heard, and the spook factor!
