Kombucha Workshop

This is not your average Kombucha making class! Join community herbalists Rebecca Marion and JeriAnne Shealy for this unique kombucha workshop designed to guide you through both the health benefits and the how-to of brewing your own traditional AND herbal kombucha. Herbal Kombucha is not something folks are talking about and most of the information online says you can't do it. It is the belief that kombucha can only thrive when made with black or green tea. Not only is this a problem for folks who want to avoid caffeine but it dismisses the ability to tailor your kombucha to your specific health needs. This isn't a new concept, it's been successfully implemented for many years but you also can't just throw any herb in and expect it to go well!
In this class you will leave with the everything you need to start brewing your own kombucha, traditionally or using herbs.

Each attendant will leave with:
• A fresh kombucha SCOBY in a mason jar with enough tea to start a batch at home

• Printed materials including step-by-step instructions, recipes, and suggested herbal blends for your brews.
