Learn to safely ID & harvest common edible wild mushrooms of the West Coast in a full-day immersive workshop! Shaggy Jack's wildly popular class is in its 8th year running on Saturdays 9-4 from Sep 20 through Nov 15. We start with a classroom slideshow presentation covering mushroom identification, biology, ecology & habitat, the best species to forage, cooking & preserving tips followed by a forest foraging excursion where you get hands on experience identifying & harvesting mushrooms, which you get to bring home & eat!
