Nature Journaling with Meghan Walley

Spend an afternoon at the Garden with local Sunshine Coast artist and ecologist, Meghan Walley and learn how to create your own illustrated nature journal! This two hour workshop will feature exercises in observation, nature drawing, and descriptive writing.

This is a chance for people of all abilities to come away with skills for observing, documenting, and connecting with the natural world.

Cost for the workshop is $75 and includes the 2.5 hour lesson, a journal to take home and an Individual, one-year membership to the Sunshine Coast Botanical Garden. Your membership includes unlimited visits to the Garden to observe the life-cycle of your chosen plants and supported biodiversity. Membership benefits also include discounts to local plant nurseries, Brickers Cider, and The Painted Lady Art Supplies in Gibsons to help you continue your artistic journey with nature.
