Lets Celebrate Juneteenth Hike at Chaplin Nature Center!

Chaplin nature center is a Wichita Audubon property that sits on the Arkansas River. The nature center has a beautiful trail system and it will be great to explore it. Arkansas City is a short 45 minute drive from Wichita.

Hike- 1.2 miles

Bring lunch to eat on trail

We will meet at 8:30am at 1200 E Waterman if you would like to car pool or follow to trail. It is a 45 minute drive to Arkansas City from Wichita. We will take the non toll route.

The high is 92 please bring water & lunch to enjoy with everyone. We will have Pivot kombucha for purchase and some snacks to share but please bring food if you would like to have lunch outside!
