Join us for a special service led by The Experience Band. The Experience Band & Show is a DC-based music collective known as The People’s Band — rooted in Go-Go, funk, soul, and jazz, and committed to telling the story of their city through rhythm, culture, and connection. During the pandemic, they became a symbol of unity and resilience, performing free concerts across neighborhoods to uplift the community. They will lead us through a workshop called Experience The Beat, which is designed for all ages and uses hands-on exercises, live instrumentation, and interactive rhythm-building to share the history, cultural significance, and joy of Go-Go music. Please join us and bring a friend!
On the second Sunday of the month, half the cash - and checks payable to UUG with "Manos Unidas" in the memo line - go to the Center where language is not a barrier, but an opportunity to learn from each other. We also offer a virtual collection basket online in the form of the "donate" link at the top of every page of our website (www.uugettysburg.org).
Our Sunday service is dual platform. We meet physically in the sanctuary as well as on Zoom. There are masks available for use near the greeter’s stand if you wish to use one.
