Gettysburg Battlefields

Our next trip is to Gettysburg!! The bloodiest 3 day battle in the course of the Civil War, this location is known as the turning point of the war. We are planning on touring Devil's Den, Little Round Top, and Big Round Top. Plan on a LOT of walking.

To start the trip, we will meet at 11AM at the Gettysburg Visitor center and tour a little. There is a small museum and video. If you are interested in adding this, please drop a comment on the event page and I will add it as a group visit if we have enough interest. From there, we will drive to our starting point (TBD) and walk to all 3 points mentioned above.

Please plan to spend most the day on the battlefields. There will be a lot of tour guides on site to answer questions and give background information as this day will be the 162nd anniversary of the battle that was fought on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of 1863.

This trip is FREE!! Since no group tour is planned, I do not need accurate numbers so no payment is due. Please RSVP via https://northerndoverco-op.weebly.com/field-trips.html

RSVP is a must if you plan on having the kids hang out and learn along the way! We will plan lunch together as well. This trip is open to anyone with school aged children between 5 and 18. Siblings are always welcome too!
