Virtual Professional Development: Day With a Ranger- Civil War Unit and Field Trip Planning

Virtual Professional Development for primary and elementary teachers, and teachers new to teaching the American Civil War.

This day we will explore new and active ways for you to teach the Civil War, as well as to organize your field trip (whether in-person or virtual field trip). Spend the morning virtually with our education team to learn about all of your Gettysburg options, and then select a break-out topic for your afternoon session to learn more about our Research Library, try out some History Lab activities, or talk to a Licensed Battlefield Guide among other options.
