Ride for Xavier Dawson

Xavier Dawson, aged 9, passed away last week doing what he loved - riding ATVs. His mother requested that anyone with a loud/fast car or motorcycle attend the funeral and send him off. From Dawson’s mother:

“My poor baby
We are asking everyone to bring their hot rods, motorcycles, big trucks, and fast cars. I want the biggest show for my little boy. He loved donuts, burnouts and anything fast and LOUD.”


I am coordinating a ride to his funeral in Tell City Indiana. The meetup spot will be the Marathon gas station in Edwardsville Indiana (right off exit 118 on I-64) at 10:15am EST and the ride will be about 1 hour to the funeral home, departing at 10:30am est.

I’m asking that each rider donate $20 which will be given to Xavier’s mother after the funeral.

All bikes are welcome. After the funeral I plan to ride in the funeral procession but that will be optional. Those that stay will ride back to the meetup spot after the funeral procession.
