Mark your calendars for Monday, July 28 when Travis will be back in the shop on for our next "around the world" wine class! As usual when Travis is in the house, it's going to be a BLAST!
This month Travis is keeping it cool and diving into Riesling, a favorite of casual wine drinkers and world-renowned sommeliers alike. You might be surprised to learn that there's quite the variety of Riesling styles out there. Believe it or not, many of them are not sweet - and they can age for a reeallllyy long time!
So come learn about Riesling with us! For this class we will taste our way through several expressions and styles from different areas around the world including: Germany, Austria, New York and Australia.
We'll discuss vineyard and production techniques, that mysterious concept of "terroir," and how to know exactly how sweet the wine is without ever opening the bottle!
Limited seats available. As always, we'll have additional bottles from the tasting for sale that evening at 10% off the normal retail price.
