About the event

March in the 4th of July Kazoo Band!

Help us spread those sweet kazoo sounds & a love of books by marching with the Friends of the Library in Georgetown's 4th of July Parade.

No experience needed. Kazoos and instruction provided.

10:15am: Meet at Werlin Park to learn a few marches & songs.
11:00am: Parade begins & we kazoo our hearts out along the parade route, ending at Sixth Street.

It’s loud, silly, and you get to yell at strangers to read more books. Come be part of the magic, the mayhem, and the music.
