About the event

Herbarium: The Quest to Preserve and Classify the World's Plants
Devil's Gate History Club presents Dr. Barbara Thiers, Author and former Director of the New York Botanical Garden Herbarium, now Research Adjunct at the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Join us for "Herbarium: The Quest to Preserve and Classify the World’s Plants" — a fascinating look at how historic plant collections connect us to early Colorado botanists like Torrey, Gray, and Parry, and how they’re helping scientists address challenges today.

Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
