The University of Delaware Carvel Research and Education Center in Georgetown invites the agriculture community to attend Agronomic, Fruit and Vegetable Crop and Poultry tours on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. RSVP is required by August 8 to Karen Adams

Attendees may select one of three tour tracks:
Agronomic Crops
Fruit and Vegetable Crops
Poultry
A longstanding tradition at UD’s Georgetown campus, Carvel’s August tours provide an opportunity for UD Extension researchers and extension specialists to report out their research to farmers, certified crop advisors, agriculture industry professionals, and Cooperative Extension colleagues from neighboring regions. The opportunity to examine field conditions in real time provides agriculture stakeholders with valuable information for planning and managing crops.
Dinner will be provided for all registrants. A scheduled rain date is Friday, August 15, 2025. The Carvel Center is located at 16483 County Seat Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
