Wat is Sevillanas?
Sevillanas is een levendige, passionele Spaanse dans per twee die uitbundig wordt gedanst op Andalusische feria’s. Aan de hand van 4 copla’s vertelt elk lied het verhaal van een ontmoeting, confrontatie, ruzie of liefde.
? Geen partner? Geen probleem! Dansers wisselen steeds van partner, waardoor het voor iedereen toegankelijk is.

Workshop Initiatie Sevillanas

Voor absolute beginners die nog geen ervaring hebben met Sevillanas en graag de basis willen leren.

⚠️ Let op: We vragen vriendelijk dat je echte dansschoenen draagt, sokken of op blote voeten danst in de studio's van Shoonya Dance Centre.

Never danced Sevillanas before? Or looking for an easy way to start? This workshop will introduce you to the basic steps and movements, so you can join the practice night with confidence.

What is Sevillanas?
Sevillanas is a lively, passionate Spanish partner dance, exuberantly performed at Andalusian ferias. Using 4 coplas, each song tells the story of a couple’s encounter, confrontation, quarrel, or love.
? No partner? No problem! Dancers switch partners throughout the night, making it an inviting experience for everyone.

For absolute beginners who have never danced Sevillanas and want to learn the basics.
