Ehsan Yadollahi

Ehsan Yadollahi is een meester op de setar, een traditioneel snaarinstrument uit de Perzische muziek. Zijn werk is doordrenkt van reizen, observatie en verbinding. Opgroeid in Iran verkent hij sinds 2010 de wereld – van Maleisië tot Europa – op zoek naar onverwachte verwantschappen tussen mensen en culturen.

Vanuit de traditionele Iraanse muziek bouwt hij bruggen naar volksmuziek uit andere landen. In zijn solo-improvisaties vloeien emoties en melodieën samen tot nieuwe verhalen. Ehsan nodigt je uit om te luisteren naar de ritmes en klanken die ons verbinden.
