Getting Started with Patchwork

New to quilting? This class is made just for you!
Perfect for the absolute beginner, this class gently introduces you to the fundamentals of rotary cutting and machine piecing — all while you create a beautiful, beginner-friendly quilt top. With no triangles, no tricky seams, and plenty of step-by-step guidance, success is absolutely within reach!

By the end of the class, you'll have completed your quilt top — a lovely lap quilt or bed topper — and gained confidence in your cutting and piecing skills. (Please note: machine quilting — the process of joining your quilt top, batting, and backing — is taught separately).

What to bring:
You’ll need to bring your own sewing machine and basic quilting tools. Don’t worry if you're unsure what you need — we’re happy to guide you!

Fabric selection made easy:
A key part of quilting is choosing fabrics that complement each other. To help you with this, we offer a one-on-one in-store fabric consultation before your class. Simply call us to book your appointment — we’ll help you pick the perfect fabrics to make your quilt truly shine.
