Another Blooming Quilt with Sharon Wilkinson

Did you know how lucky we are to have Sharon Wilkinson now working with us (previous owner of The Quilt Shop in Eltham). Sharon is the most amazing quilt designer and her Another Blooming Quilt is absolutely stunning.

Another Blooming (or Just Another Blooming) Quilt is a printed quilt pattern described as a scaled‑down variation of a popular original, That Blooming Quilt design. The quilt top is constructed using machine piecing paired with needle‑turn appliqué techniques, making it engaging for quilters familiar with both methods.

If you’re after a crafted project that blends floral/block motifs (suggestive from the title) with classic piecing and appliqué work, this pattern delivers a lovely floral‑inspired quilt that’s a bit easier to tackle than its larger predecessor — perfect for a throw or wall quilt that blooms with colour and design.

This is a large project so Sharon has put on 2 classes - one in February and one in March to assist with getting started and help along the way. These classes are listed as separate days. Class fee is for one day only. Class fee does not include the book that is required to make the project or any fabrics.

Please note: This class will be confirmed one week prior to the class date. A minimum of 6 students is required for this class to go ahead. Any cancellations received after that date will not be refunded.
