Beginners Machine Quilting

NOTE: You MUST have a knowledge of patchwork before you book into this class. This is NOT learning how to make blocks, for this you need to book into the Beginners Patchwork Class. The beginners machine quilting class is learning how to put the 3 layers together and machine quilt.

We are once again running the beginners machine quilting class. This is the process of sewing the 3 layers together - quilt top, wadding and backing fabric to complete your quilt.

In this class you will learn how to prepare your quilt, correct pinning, and learning the basics of straight line quilting through to working with a template to create curved designs. There is no free motion work in this class just walking foot so it makes the class perfect for those of you who have not quilted before.

There is homework to do prior to this class in making the required blocks.

Please note: A minimum of 6 students is required for this class to run. A confirmation email will be sent to all students one week prior to the class date. Any cancellations received after that date will not be refunded to ensure the class will go ahead for other students.
