Fall 2025 Yoga Series with Jo-Ann D’Alfonso

This multi-level yoga class welcomes anyone with some basic yoga familiarity, regardless of age, body type, fitness, or activity level. Each session combines:
✔️ Classic yoga postures (asanas)
✔️ Breath work (pranayama)
✔️ Meditation & mindfulness practices
✔️ Deep relaxation techniques
Guided by the Kripalu tradition of compassion, Jo-Ann creates a supportive and inclusive space where you can explore movement with curiosity and respect for your body’s unique wisdom. The focus is not on “perfect poses” or strict alignment, but on discovering what you need in the moment and finding practices that bring ease, strength, and joy into daily life.
Alongside building physical balance, flexibility, and resilience, this series nourishes the five koshas (body layers) described in yogic tradition—supporting you physically, energetically, mentally, intuitively, and emotionally.

✨ Offered both in-person at the Meredith Centre and online from the comfort of home.
✨ If you’re new to yoga, a one-on-one intro session with Jo-Ann is recommended.
