L'atelier enseignera :
- La base des premiers soins;
- À venir en aide aux personnes en surdoses;
- Venir en aide aux personnes blessées pendant des manifestations et dans votre communauté;
Il sera donné par le Moonlight collective.
Moonlight est un collectif de street-medics basé à ottawa, sur le territoire non-cédé et non-abandonné du peuple algonquin Anishinaabe. Nous fournissons des soins de base et des premiers secours lors de manifestations communautaires et dans des contextes d’aides dans des milieus de rue. Notre approche est centrée sur la réduction des méfaits en mettant l'accent sur le renforcement de la résilience et de la force de la communauté. Nous croyons que la communauté se protège elle-même.

The system is failing us. Poverty is spreading, and the overdoses crisis is here to stay. The best way out is to help each other.
The workshop will teach :
- The basics of first aid;
- How to help people who have overdosed;
- How to help people who have been injured during protests and in your community;
It will be led by the Moonlight collective.
Moonlight is a street-medic collective based in so-called ottawa, on unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe People. We provide basic care and first aid at community demonstrations and in street outreach contexts. Our approach centres harm reduction with a focus on building community resilience and strength. We believe that the community keeps itself safe.
