Join us for a Halloween Treat and Trail through the Park and meet lots of your favourite kingdom Characters on the Way!
This is a family fun event thats Hosted in the Beautiful Saltwell Park Gateshead!
Meet and Greet Event & Photo Opportunities
Suitable for all ages even adults! This is a Halloween event that’s not scary just family fun.
Please come in your best attire & costumes if you wish to really get into the Spirit!
What Happens at the Event?
You will arrive to the Park and Make your way to one of our Signing in locations to start
These are:
Gate 1 ( opposite little theatre )
or
The Park Bandstand ( closest if you are parking in Park main Car park)
If you start at Gate 1 you will end the trail at Band stand
If you start at Band stand you will end end the trail at Gate 1
it is one route which can be done either way!
when signing in to one of these locations you'll be given a map to see where the Characters are located , a Kingdom Pass to access the characters ( without this they will not interact with you so vital to collect) & Halloween Treat bag to collect goodies!
Each ticket is timed so you will be staggered in groups to go through the trail giving you more of a personalised feel.
If you are attending in a group please ensure you are all purchasing same time slot , come together to sign in station and all start the trail from same place!
You will follow the map and meet Characters on the way for Photos / interaction and some treats for your bags
( please note taking treats is optional and are only at occasional stops not all!
these are an extra part of the event the event isn’t sweet focused some stops have sweets some dont and all attendees do not have to take treats if they do not wish to do so! )
This is a fully outdoor event so should weather be a little less desired please bring coats, brolly & wellies!
You'll head through the park ticking off the list of meet and greets and getting photos with the characters
Characters attending will be a mix of all time favourites superheros , princesses , halloween characters see flier for more pictures!
Other characters will include favourites Mr & Mrs Mouse!
There are other activities on site completed the route you will not Cafe, Maze etc and the public parts of the park accessible to public for more family time
Times
for eg 10:00 , 12:15 , 1:45 Slots cannot be amended!
1:45 IS THE LAST ENTRY SLOT OF THE EVENT THE EVENT FULLY CLOSES AT 2:45
All of the entry Slots to the trail have been staggered, this is to allow time to see each character along the route get photos etc and Interaction.
Prices
General Admission is £10.00 plus Transaction fee per booking - ( it is one overall ticket that is suitable for Adults or Children )
under 2s - £4.50 plus transaction fee per booking We have One general ticket for babies no time slot is needed
DISCOUNTED FAMILY TICKET IS £30 PLUS TRANSACTION FEE THIS GIVES ENTRY TO ANY MIX OF 4 PEOPLE
CHILDREN, ADULTS or babies under 2 any 4 of these
CARER TICKET - THE FAIRY GODMOTHER PASS
PLEASE ADD TO YOUR ORDER IF YOU ARE A CARER & HOLD A CARER PASS AND ARE COMPANYING A PAYING TICKET HOLDER ONLY.
THIS IS ONLY VALID IN THESE CONDITIONS
* Proof of pass will be needed on day on arrival.
The event is aimed for 2 years and upwards
Please note any child over 24 months is classed as a child and will need a child's ticket priced £10 or admission on a family ticket
Every person / baby, child adult attending must have a valid ticket to participate note we are restricted to the number of event goers on each day.
Please note all bookings will be subjected to a transaction fee from the ticket and card company this is one fee per booking we do not receive this.
Cancellations & Refunds
Please note this event will only go ahead subject to health and safety approval at the time this has been passed but in the unlikely event this could not go ahead for any reason out of our control, we would reschedule tickets for 2023 same time and date.
All ticket sales are final and cannot under any circumstance be changed for a different date or time, as a small business we do not have the man power to change times to suit schedules, this also makes the event hard to manage so please note if you purchase that time and date you must attend the chosen time.
Refunds are only given should the event be fully Cancelled not rescheduled. If you don't wish to attend the event for any reason, you can sell your tickets on and email us at

Parking
There is parking in the local Lowfell area (Lowrey's Lane Public Car Park) but we are advised to ask customers to take public transport if possible to avoid congestions, where this isn't possible and you will be bringing the car, there are car park's available in the surrounding areas.
