The Rotary Club of Lockport is proud to announce its 2025 major fundraiser: a benefit dinner in support of the Kenan Center’s campaign to build the new Kenan Center Civic Arena, titled "A Seat at the Table: Building a Space for Everyone."
The event will feature a gourmet dinner on Saturday, September 13th at 5:00 PM, held at Spring Lake Winery, located at 7373 Rochester Rd, Lockport, NY 14094. The Rotary Club aims to raise and contribute $100,000 toward the construction of the new arena.
A specially prepared and served four-course gourmet dinner with wine pairings will be served followed by dessert. As the expected nearly 200 guests arrive at 5:00PM, hors d'oeuvres and sparkling Riesling will also be served prior to everyone finding their assigned seating.
Entertainment during the dinner will be provided by the cast of Rodgers & Hammerstein's ‘A Grand Night For Singing’, which will run at the Kenan Center’s Taylor Theatre October 2 through 12.
In cooperation with the Kenan Center staff, Rotary has identified individuals to serve as assigned table hosts. As there is no cost for this elaborate dinner, guests will be encouraged to make significant donations toward the new Arena either in cash or pledges throughout the evening. The table hosts will help explain the process at each table.
In addition, the Kenan leadership team led by their Executive Director Bill Patti, will provide information about the project and how it is expected to serve the Lockport community for many years into the future.
