À la Baie Sainte-Marie, en Nouvelle-Écosse, la musique fait vibrer la communauté acadienne depuis des générations. Née dans un coin reculé appelé « le Trécarré », à l’abri du regard des prêtres, elle demeure bien vivante et est, encore aujourd’hui, en constante évolution. Bluegrass, country, rock, punk et hip-hop se mêlent avec audace, portés par des artistes comme Grand Dérangement, Radio Radio et Peanut Butter Sunday. La réalisatrice Natalie Robichaud nous plonge au cœur de cette scène musicale effervescente, où chaque moment devient une célébration. Trécarré : à la source du son de la Baie Sainte-Marie capte toute l’énergie d’une musique qu’on ne se contente pas d’écouter, mais qui se partage, se danse et se vit pleinement.

In Baie Sainte-Marie, Nova Scotia, music has been stirring the Acadian community for generations. Born in a remote corner called “Le Trécarré,” hidden from the eyes of priests, it remains alive and well and continues to evolve today. Bluegrass, country, rock, punk, and hip-hop boldly intermingle, carried by artists such as Grand Dérangement, Radio Radio, and Peanut Butter Sunday. Director Natalie Robichaud immerses us in the heart of this vibrant music scene, where every moment becomes a celebration.
