Join us for our annual community commemoration for Black August. “People Can Change” will be a Black August gathering that uplifts justice-impacted individuals, honors political prisoners and those who’ve been harmed by mass incarceration, and offers space for healing, accountability, and transformation. Hosted in the heart of Gary, Indiana, this event is a call to remember, reclaim, and reimagine justice.
