¡Baila the Summer Away! Garland Public Libraries present Dreaming of You: The Selena Experience

Join us 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1 on the Downtown Garland Square for a FREE performance honoring the Queen of Tejano! Dreaming of You brings the spirit and sound of Selena to life in a high-energy tribute concert you won’t want to miss.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, and get ready to dance the night away to your favorite Selena hits! Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Downtown Garland eateries. This family-friendly summer concert is presented in partnership with the Friends of the Library and Downtown Development Office.

This event kicks off the 2025 One Book, One Garland community read program, which will feature the novel “Malas” by Marcela Fuentes. One Book, One Garland invites adults in the Garland community to read one book and take part in related programs throughout the month of September, including an author talk and literary festival on September 27!
