Join us for the sixth edition of BBQ, Bikes, & Beer! This time, we will meet at Intrinsic Smokehouse & Brewery in historic Downtown Garland.
🚨Note the earlier time!🚨 Arrive by 8 am and be ready for group photos/announcements at 8:15 am. Wheels will go down promptly at 8:30 am.
As usual, we have great routes planned with two pace groups. After the ride, we will return to Intrinsic for slow smoked barbecue and handcrafted beers. We should mention that Intrinsic won D Magazine’s top honors for Best BBQ in 2016 and best bar in 2017. Better yet, the owner has generously offered our group a "Spandex Happy Hour" with $3 lagers! 🍻
📌 We will have two pace groups so download the route you are riding.
Group A will ride 36 miles at an average speed of 16-17 mph.

The speeds listed for each group are the expected average speeds, not the speed range during the ride. The pace will be faster on flats and descents, so choose your group accordingly. Neither group will be no-drop, so be prepared by downloading the route or having a rideshare app ready to go.
📌 Helmets are REQUIRED, so don’t show up without one. Check your bike and gear before the ride. Pack a spare tube/necessary tools. Bring plenty of hydration with electrolytes. Call out hazards, and avoid passing the leaders. Stay in two lines unless instructed to get in a single file. We cannot stop for mechanicals, so have a rideshare app ready. As always, you're responsible for your own safety and bike.
