Kayaking & Stand Up Paddleboarding Demos

Join certified instructors at the new Garfield Park Pond as you give paddling a try. Drop-in and climb into an available kayak or stand up paddleboard. Instructors will be on shore to assist you with securely putting on a lifejacket, learning to use a paddle, and to safely launch. Instructors will be nearby on-water to give helpful tips and tricks while you paddle in Garfield Park Pond. Demos will happen weather permitting. Any changes due to weather will be posted on this site. Ages: 8 & over
