Come join the Druids of Columbia Grove, ADF as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox! This ritual is open to all pagans of all paths as we celebrate the changing of the seasons in Hellenic (Greek) fashion! During this rite we will honor Dionysos, the god of wine and revelry! With our invocation and offerings may he join our rite as the guest of honor to inspire our hearts and dance with us.
This rite is all ages and we invite you to bring offerings to your own ancestors, nature spirits and deities. Good offerings to Dionysos are musk, civet, frankincense, storax, ivy, grapes, pine, fig, wine, honey, apples, Indian hemp, orchis root, thistle, all wild and domestic trees.
We will assemble at 2:45 PM, the ritual itself starts at 3:00 PM sharp, and lasts about an hour and a half.
All are welcome to join the fun and festivities. No experience in Druidry required! Everyone is encouraged to take part in the merriment.
