🌈 Rainbow Rebels — The Ultimate Art Quest
Ages 5–8
This term, our Rainbow Rebels set off on The Ultimate Art Quest — a playful, skill-building adventure where young artists learn how to draw, explore materials, and bring their ideas to life using mixed media.
Throughout the quest, students will experiment with a wide range of drawing and art materials, including pencils, markers, oil pastels, watercolour, and collage elements. Each session introduces the foundations of drawing and making, broken down into fun, achievable steps:
Drawing lines, shapes, and simple forms
Adding colour, texture, and pattern
Exploring light and shading in an age-appropriate way
Turning drawings into layered mixed-media artworks
Learning how to plan, start, and finish an artwork
Each week adds a new “quest step,” helping our young creators build confidence, develop fine motor skills, and discover the joy of experimenting with art — all in a supportive, playful studio environment.
At the end of the term, Rainbow Rebels will have the chance to proudly showcase their work in Creativity Hood’s first ever student exhibition — a joyful celebration of creativity, growth, and artistic bravery.
